Job summary

Sysco seeks a Region VP of Sales to lead the local sales organization within a defined Region and shape the sales vision. The role ensures processes, people and culture are aligned to win in the market and meet local sales growth, contract growth, and margin goals.

The leader coaches and guides the sales team, executes center-led strategies, and collaborates with cross-functional partners to maximize market share while fostering a consultative, team-based selling culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field required.
• Proven track record in regional sales leadership and team development.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen for P&L, margins and cost control.
• Experience with consultative selling and multi-unit contract management.

Responsibilities

• Create an overall sales strategy for sites within region.
• Identify territories and OpCo assignments for business development team members and large multiunit customers.
• Recruit and develop local sales associates and teams.
• Form and manage programs to compensate, coach, and train sales personnel.
• Oversee and set sales targets to maximize revenues and margins.
• Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams and customers.
