Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Regional Vice President-General Manager for South Texas to lead safety, strategy, and operations across Central Texas and Houston Districts. You will align regional goals with divisional objectives, oversee capital projects, and drive profitable growth while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires a proven track record in large-scale leadership within mining/aggregates, with expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, business, mining, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive leadership in mining/aggregates or heavy industry, with sales and operations management experience.
• 7+ years in financial reporting, budgeting and planning.

Responsibilities

• Build a world-class safety culture across the Southwest division.
• Develop and implement commercial and operational strategies to achieve business results.
• Lead a high-performing, collaborative team with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Oversee and optimize aggregates and asphalt operations, including capital projects and profitability alignment.
• Grow market position and strengthen customer relationships throughout the region.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate policy; drive community engagement.
