Job summary

Martin Marietta seeks a Regional Vice President-General Manager, South Texas, to lead the aggregates and crushed concrete businesses in Southwest Texas. The role reports to the Division President, Southwest, West and Specialties, and oversees strategy, safety, and profitability across Central Texas and Houston Districts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, mining, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in mining, aggregates, or related heavy industry with a strong sales/operations background.
• Proven track record leading large-scale commercial and operational teams across multiple markets/sites.
• 7+ years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and planning.

Responsibilities

• Build a world-class safety culture in the Southwest division.
• Develop and implement commercial and operational strategies to achieve business results.
• Oversee and align capital projects and operations with profitability goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
• Lead business development activities and acquisition analysis and integration efforts while ensuring regulatory compliance.
