Advance Auto Parts Inc. seeks a VP of Field Operations to lead operations for 150–200 stores across the region. You will inspire teams, drive customer success, and grow profitability with integrity.

The role requires building high-performing teams, shaping strategic objectives, and ensuring consistent store standards while visiting districts regularly. Strong leadership and financial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• 5–10 years multi-unit management experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proven track record in meeting sales and gross margin targets.
• Experience managing profitability; strong financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the region's key strategies with Area HR and store leadership.
• Collaborate with RVP/SVP of Operations to improve procedures and share best practices.
• Develop annual sales plans, budgets, forecasts, and store openings.
• Lead high standards of customer service; coach District Leaders for results.
• Build high performing teams through training and external talent acquisition.
• Promote diversity and a respectful work environment with accountability.
• Spend 50–60% of time visiting districts/stores to ensure execution.
• Support other functions as needed by Area leaders.
