Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. seeks a Vice President/Operations Manager to lead and expand environmental consulting operations across the Southeast, including teams based in Duluth, GA and Louisville, KY, with projects spanning EPA START contracts.

You will provide strategic leadership, ensure project execution, and drive financial performance. You will manage cross-disciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, geologists, and emergency responders, expanding business opportunities, mentoring staff, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced leadership (optional).
• Experience with CERCLA/START programs and federal contracting is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management for environmental operations across the Southeast.
• Lead project teams to meet milestones, budgets, and high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with program management to implement EPA START contracts efficiently and compliantly.
• Identify growth opportunities and pursue new contracts through stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee financial performance including P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Mentor staff and build a strong, scalable team.
• Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance across operations.
