Job summary

Your Health Organization in the Charleston area is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to lead a patient-centered volunteer and philanthropic program. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure volunteer services and foundation resources directly enhance patient outcomes, improve care experiences and reduce avoidable healthcare utilization.

You must have reliable transportation as travel is required daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Masters degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Nonprofit Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in program development, community engagement, healthcare or nonprofit leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and maintain a regional volunteer program aligned with Your Health's care model.
• Recruit, onboard, train and retain volunteers to support patient-centered initiatives.
• Develop structured volunteer roles that integrate into care teams and community-based services.
• Coordinate deployment of volunteers to support patients with non-clinical needs and caregiver support.
