Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a senior operations leader to oversee multi-site community operations and drive financial performance. The role requires building high-performing teams, coordinating with corporate and field operations, and guiding strategy on labor, occupancy, and quality of services.

You will travel extensively to support communities, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations while promoting a strong resident-focused culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related subject.
  • Five or more years related business experience in skilled, assisted living, or retirement living facility/community management.
  • Three or more years’ experience in operations management with demonstrated success in meeting financial goals in retirement living, assisted living, or related fields.
  • Multi-site business operations experience.
  • Documented success in exceeding business financial goals.
  • Excellent reputation in management and leadership.
  • Willingness to travel extensively on behalf of the company.
  • Position requires driving responsibilities and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop strategies to align policies and practices with the organization’s mission and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies regarding labor, occupancy, expenses, and quality of services; review activity and redirect as needed.
  • Ensure communities comply with policies, procedures, and regulations; oversee organizational alignment between senior management and field operations.
  • Provide organizational leadership to enable teams to succeed and build high morale.
  • Oversee development of operational budgets and capital requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, and corporate and regional teams.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

  • Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Atria motor vehicle policy standards.

  • Lead and develop strategies to ensure policies and practices for achieving business results are aligned with the organization’s mission and business objectives.
  • Develop and implement successful strategies regarding labor, occupancy, expenses, and quality of services, and review and redirect activity, if necessary.
  • Ensures that assigned communities comply with all aspects of operation, including personnel practices, in accordance with Atria policies and federal, state and local regulations.
  • Provide organizational leadership and influence in ensuring optimal performance to enable teams to succeed in the organization.
  • Act as a liaison between senior corporate management team and the field operations team to ensure organizational alignment.
  • Establish an effective means to communicate throughout the organization.
  • Oversee the development of operational budgets and capital requirements.
  • Builds a high performing team and keeps morale high.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
