Job summary
Thrive Pet Healthcare seeks an experienced credentialed Veterinary Technician Trainer to lead regional training across San Antonio and surrounding areas. You will partner with hospital leadership to identify skill gaps, deliver coaching, and support onboarding and upskilling aligned with Thrive clinical standards.
Requires 4–6 years clinical technician experience, 2 years in training/leadership, and an Associate degree (Bachelor's preferred).
Qualifications
- Credentialed veterinary technician with clinical expertise.
- Experience in coaching, mentorship, and staff development.
- Strong communication and emotional intelligence required.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to identify training needs and priorities.
- Provide tools, training, and feedback for onboarding and upskilling.
- Deliver coaching to Veterinary Technicians, assistants, and trainers.
- Support competency assessments and regional development plans.
- Promote learning culture and adherence to Thrive standards.
- Document training activities and communicate outcomes to leadership.
