Job summary

Lakefield Veterinary Group seeks an Area Manager to lead operations across Oregon hospitals. You will spend four days per week onsite, coaching hospital leaders, driving growth, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, budgeting participation, and cross‑functional collaboration with marketing and HR. You will partner with recruiting to staff clinics, optimize throughput and client experience, and manage standardization of processes and SOPs while upholding

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-site operations management in healthcare.
• Experience driving growth and enforcing compliance in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and healthcare documentation standards.
• Experience with practice management systems; ezyVet is a plus.
• Data-driven operator with dashboard proficiency (PowerBI).

Responsibilities

• Be present in assigned hospitals at least 4 days per week with structured visits.
• Lead hospital leadership, coach teams, and uphold Lakefield policies.
• Build local market plans to drive client acquisition, retention, and revenue per visit.
• Coordinate recruiting, staffing models, and participation in budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with policies, OSHA standards, and documentation.
• Utilize ezyVet reporting and dashboards to identify trends and drive improvements.
