Job Description

You will join a newly established team doing Business Development (BD) for Food & Beverage (F&B) as part of the Product Line (PL) Performance Drives & Motion. This BD role for F&B aims to unlock the full growth and value potential of this promising business in a dynamic environment. Our Performance Drives products are known for their features, quality, and reliability, and we anticipate significant growth in the coming years.

The 'Regional Vertical Lead F&B' will lead, drive, and enable regional and local sales strategies by sharing expertise with sales teams, partners, and customers regarding our F&B Drives solutions. Together, we will strive to win customer loyalty and become the preferred supplier of Drives for selected clients. The role involves setting the vision and strategy for F&B in collaboration with Sales, incorporating insights from regional markets to inform the PL LT and PM/PD organizations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead business development efforts, expanding through channels including key customers (Partners, SI's, End Users & OEMs) within the NAM F&B market.
  • Develop and deliver tailored Drives solutions using available sales, marketing, and service resources.
  • Support and execute sales strategies in collaboration with sales companies.
  • Create detailed regional/country plans and oversee their execution, including marketing goals.
  • Build momentum and focus for the F&B team in targeted countries.
  • Provide regional insights to the F&B BD team and PM/PD organizations, including identifying product gaps.
  • Act as the key contact on pricing and portfolio topics.
  • Drive sales of existing portfolio to meet regional growth targets.
  • Identify key customers and priorities at regional and local levels.
  • Coordinate with GKAM on local activities.
  • Support critical customer engagements and strategic actions.
  • Establish and develop an opportunity pipeline.
  • Assist in developing business cases for new product opportunities.
  • Support KPI focus areas.
  • Manage price positioning to maximize profitable growth across channels.
  • Lead negotiations and stakeholder engagement to convert prospects and secure contracts.

Employee Benefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000-$170,000 plus bonus and benefits. Benefits include bonus systems, paid vacation, flexible hours, remote work options, personal insurance, communication packages, participation in Employee Resource Groups, state-of-the-art virtual work environment, and an Employee Referral Program. Benefits may vary by country and are subject to change.
