Job summary

The Area Manager – Vegetation Management at Ceres Caribe oversees vegetation operations across Puerto Rico, leading field crews to ensure safe, compliant execution of clearing activities that support the power grid. You will coordinate daily plans, supervise foremen, and align work with client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or related field.
  • 3–5 years in vegetation management or field operations.
  • Experience managing crews or field personnel.
  • Knowledge of vegetation clearing standards and safety regulations.
  • Ability to travel across Puerto Rico and communicate in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Lead vegetation foremen and crews to ensure safe, compliant work.
  • Coordinate daily operations, schedules, and productivity targets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor equipment and coordinate replenishment as needed.
  • Report on productivity and safety metrics.
  • Support outage response and emergency vegetation clearing.
