Job summary

ZT Automotive Group in Houston, TX is seeking a Regional Pre-Owned Manager to oversee pre-owned vehicle operations across our markets. You will drive inventory strategy—acquisition, pricing, merchandising, aging—and own appraisal discipline and wholesale exposure at the group level.

Collaborate with GM/Market Directors, optimize acquisition performance, direct actions on aged units, and support merchandising and marketing for pre-owned inventory. Travel 50–65% across markets is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-owned or used car operations, including inventory management, pricing, and wholesale/retail strategies.
• Working knowledge of appraisal practices, acquisition sourcing, and reconditioning workflow.
• Ability to analyze market data, sales reports, and performance metrics to make data-driven decisions.
• Must be able to coach and influence across locations without direct supervisory authority.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with auction and vendor partners.
