Job summary

AllSearch Staffing Group is seeking a Regional Underwriting Team Lead for an established property and casualty insurer in Spokane, WA. The role blends hands-on commercial underwriting with direct leadership of a 4-person team of underwriters.

The position requires strong leadership and 7+ years of commercial underwriting, with hybrid in-office and remote work expectations Wednesday in-office, Thursday and Friday remote.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial lines underwriting experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Commercial property and casualty insurance underwriting experience.
• Experience underwriting small to middle market commercial accounts.
• Experience with production underwriting, underwriting quality, account management, and/or referral authority.
• Experience underwriting complex commercial accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4 small to middle market commercial lines production underwriters.
• Oversee team production efforts, underwriting quality, account management, and referral activity.
• Provide underwriting leadership, guidance, and referral authority for commercial P&C accounts.
• Maintain individual production underwriting responsibilities for large and complex commercial accounts.
• Evaluate commercial risks and make underwriting decisions within established authority.
• Support account management activities and ongoing commercial insurance portfolio performance.
• Work directly with top agents and agency partners to support commercial lines business and account needs.
