Job summary

AIG is seeking a Regional Production Specialist within our Middle Market Property team in the United States. You will own a range of programs and processes, mentor colleagues, and handle complex underwriting while balancing stakeholder needs and delivering high customer service.

You will also contribute to new business development, attend broker events, and build relationships across the market, leveraging data and risk judgment to make sound decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven underwriting or broking experience in property.
• Deep technical expertise.
• Proven people management skills and a track record of developing junior colleagues.
• Ability to analyze financial statements.
• Strong communication, networking and relationship-building skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Customer and sales oriented behaviors: motivated, tenacious, focused, proactive, and accountable.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for achieving goals and outcomes; mentor colleagues and oversee programs and processes; handle complex underwriting.
• Balance needs of multiple stakeholders and make sound decisions using data, experience and risk judgment; build broker relationships and deliver high customer service.
• Promote collaboration, inclusivity and learning while mentoring; support career development and succession planning.
• Play a key role in new business development, including attending broker events and building relationships across the market.
