Job summary

AIG’s Los Angeles-based team seeks a Regional Production Specialist Sr, Excess & Surplus Lines to drive profitable growth in its E&S portfolio. You will mentor junior staff, guide brokers, and contribute to budgeted loss and expense targets while collaborating across AIG divisions.

Expect to lead underwriting decisions, negotiate form wordings, and manage a mix of primary, excess, and layered structures with market-aware judgment and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in Commercial Property E&S underwriting.
• Ability to underwrite property risks across E&S portfolio.
• Underwrite 100%, primary/shared and layered, and excess structures.
• Strong market awareness and quick decision-making for quotes.
• Experience mentoring and leading within a zone.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite risks to maintain and grow our E&S portfolio.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues and wholesale trading partners.
• Review and negotiate manuscript form wordings and coverages.
• Mentor and train other team members within the Zone.
