Job summary

SpecialtyRx seeks an ADU Travel Technician to support long-term care facilities and assisted living communities in the Pittsburgh, PA and Eastern OH area. You will travel to client sites, maintain ADS inventory, and ensure accurate records and compliance across multiple facilities.

The role requires a Pharmacy Technician license, detail orientation, and the ability to work independently with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license (as required by state regulations).
• Previous pharmacy, inventory management, or ADS experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally.
• Ability to perform light lifting.
• Day shift (schedule may vary based on facility needs) 8am-4:30pm or 9am-5:30pm Monday- Friday.
• Local travel required within the Pittsburgh, PA and Eastern OH area.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned healthcare facilities throughout the Pittsburgh, PA and Eastern OH area.
• Maintain active communication with client facility staff and pharmacy teams, primarily via email.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within each Automated Dispensing System (ADS).
• Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies to ensure accurate billing.
• Replace medications that are approaching expiration to maintain compliance and patient safety.
• Perform monthly audits (cycle counts) to ensure system accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Represent SpecialtyRx professionally while onsite at client facilities.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
