Job summary

Michels Energy Group, Inc. seeks a Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator II to lead on-site safety initiatives, conduct visits, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response planning across the United States.

The role supports operations with HSE program compliance, delivers trainings and new hire orientations, and requires 3 years in safety plus 5 years in oil/gas, with travel up to 75% and bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role, and 5 years of experience in the oil or gas industry.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform job-site visitations, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response.
• Assist operations with compliance and communication of existing HSE programs through meetings, trainings, and new hire orientations.
• Travel to projects across the United States.
