Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Training Manager to lead training and development for a network of operations across the Central US with heavy travel. You will oversee program administration, calendar planning, onboarding, safety training and leadership coaching for training supervisors.

The role emphasizes collaboration with safety, HR and operations, maintaining training records and driving improvements in training effectiveness. Internal candidates are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years' experience in a supervisor or management role required.
• 3+ years' logistics or manufacturing industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and facilitate training and development programs to ensure OSHA-compliant training for DHL Supply Chain Team Members.
• Develop, maintain and publish annual training calendar for the Training Center.
• Facilitate HS&E, MHE, CSCS, onboarding and other key organizational training programs.
• Develop and update internal training program procedures, materials, manuals, user guides, etc.
• Coordinate and manage training events for campus locations, including start-ups.
• Utilize learning technologies to grow and develop the Training Center Team.
• Assess ongoing training needs using various formats.
• Collaborate with Campus Field Safety Manager on safety changes or initiatives.
• Develop, track and report training metrics for effectiveness at the Regional Training Center.
• Maintain training records and ensure proper document control and invoicing.
• Work with recruiting, operations and support teams to deliver onboarding training.
• Provide leadership and coaching to training supervisors in Safety, Quality and CSCS Foundations training.
• Maintain relationships with Learning and Development, operations, HR and recruitment teams to ensure quality training and issue resolution.
• Update leadership quarterly on training center activity, throughput, issues and concerns.
• Oversee the training center budget and financial allocations.
