Job summary

Jobtailor in Springfield, IL seeks a Regional Trainer for the Springfield Region to organize, plan, and develop functions for the statewide child support system. The successful candidate will appear in court as a witness or expert on difficult child support cases and develop training materials using Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience conducting training in a professional environment.
• 1 year of experience preparing and conducting presentations.
• 1 year of experience writing and developing training/presentation materials.
• 4-year college level knowledge, preferably with business/public administration coursework.
• 1 year of responsible administrative experience in public/business organization or completion of an approved management training program.
• Elementary knowledge of Child Support rules and regulations.
• 1 year of experience utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
• 2 years of experience utilizing a statewide database system such as CSNET/SDU.

• Serves as a training liaison between the Division of Child Support Services (CSS) and internal and external partners including but not limited to Circuit Clerks, Attorney general's staff, State's Attorneys, legal representative, and other states
• Appears in court as a witness to proceedings or as an expert on difficult child support cases
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above

Requirements

• Requires one (1) year of experience conducting training in a professional environment
• Requires one (1) year of experience preparing and conducting presentations
• Requires one (1) year of experience writing and developing training/presentation materials
• Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, preferably with coursework in business or public administration.
• Requires one (1) year of responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization, or completion of an agency approved professional management training program
• Elementary knowledge of Child Support rules and regulations
• One (1) year of experience utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel, etc.
• Two (2) years of experience utilizing a computer support information system such as a Statewide database system, CSNET, State Disbursement Unit (SDU)
