Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) for Neurology Rare Disease.

This senior, field-based non-sales role drives disease education, referral pathways and market development, partnering with Marketing, Medical Affairs and Account Management to implement regional plans and launch readiness. The TLL engages national and regional thought leaders, develops education programs, maps regional networks, and ensures compliant, non-promotional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced clinical, scientific, public health or business degree preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant biopharmaceutical experience including field marketing, TLL, market development or launch readiness.
• Recent experience in rare or ultra-rare disease, neurology or genetics preferred.
• Proven pre-launch and launch experience with pre- and post-approval engagement boundaries.
• Ability to operate independently and compliantly in a field role without an established franchise.
• Strong clinical and scientific fluency for credible disease-state discussions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional plans aligned with national strategy and launch priorities.
• Map institutions, thought leaders, and referral relationships to connect diagnosis, testing, counseling and referral pathways.
• Coordinate with MSLs on thought leaders, scientific needs and joint engagements; align disease education and market development.
