Role Description

The Regional Therapy Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Rocklin, CA. This role is responsible for supporting and consulting with therapy teams across designated facilities or clinics, helping them implement best practices in patient care, documentation, and workflow management. Day-to-day tasks include visiting sites, conducting therapy program reviews, coaching clinicians on protocols and standards, and providing guidance on treatment planning and outcome tracking. The consultant will collaborate with leadership to analyze performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to enhance quality and efficiency. Additional responsibilities include contributing to staff training initiatives, ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are met, and serving as a key contact for clinical questions within the region.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in physical, occupational, or speech therapy practice, with a strong understanding of evidence-based treatment and patient-centered care.
• Experience in consulting, clinical education, or supervisory roles within healthcare or rehabilitation settings.
• Strong analytical skills for reviewing therapy programs, documentation, and performance data, and translating findings into practical recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with therapists, physicians, administrators, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites, manage competing priorities, and maintain organized records and reports.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards, payer requirements, and quality assurance practices relevant to therapy services.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and basic office productivity tools.
• Relevant clinical licensure (e.g., PT, OT, SLP) and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a therapy-related field; advanced credentials or certifications are an advantage.
• Previous regional or multi-site experience and familiarity with Rocklin, CA or the surrounding area is beneficial.
