Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Regional Test Manager for a commercial motor vehicle manufacturer in the Lewisville, TX area. This onsite contract-to-hire role owns test strategy, integration, and E2E validation across delivery teams within the region.

It coordinates tester bandwidth, manages cross-team defects and dependencies, and acts as the quality gatekeeper for Go/No-Go decisions. Responsibilities include end-to-end test scope, SIT coordination, and collaboration with external validation teams, with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical/software/CS or related field required.
10-12 years test engineering experience, 4-5 years managing a team.
Experience in large automotive projects in connectivity, telematics is a must; commercial vehicles preferred.
Understanding of J1939, CAN, UDS and CANoe.

Responsibilities

End to End Scope - test strategy, planning and execution across all delivery teams.
Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) across all teams and publish reports.
Work with external validation teams such as Vehicle Testing, PTC, to plan, coordinate, and report progress towards stakeholders.
Secure tester bandwidth from POs/DMs for Integration and E2E phases.
Monitor and report quality metrics weekly to the QA Manager and stakeholders.
Enforce quality gates before phase transitions; escalation path TM → QA Manager → Leadership.
Present the test summary and Go/No-Go recommendation to PO, DM, and Business.
Provide required inputs to the Delivery Manager for Division Projects.
