The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for promoting and selling GSE products within an assigned territory. This role reports directly to the Commercial Director and is accountable for driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and managing the full sales cycle. The Regional Sales Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with business objectives.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed territory sales targets.
- Conduct regular sales calls with owners, engineers, general contractors, and regulatory agencies to promote GSE products and secure project specifications.
- Maintain accurate and current customer information in the CRM system.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts and stakeholders.
- Identify and qualify sales leads from a variety of sources including advertising inquiries, trade shows, and networking.
- Make proactive outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries to convert opportunities into sales.
- Effectively address customer objections and provide technical solutions in alignment with product capabilities.
- Provide timely monthly sales reports and updates to management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to determine project pricing and proposals.
- Support the management of competitive bids by sharing market insights and feedback.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and company meetings as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales or selling products with performance specifications.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with multi-tier sales channels and the construction bid process.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
