Job summary

FujiSan in Santa Fe Springs, CA, seeks an Associate Regional Training Manager to oversee sushi kiosk operations, training, and franchise transitions. This role requires independent judgment, heavy travel, and accountability for regional performance across locations.

You will train new and existing franchisees to Fujisan standards, open new kiosks, and ensure food safety and operational compliance across assigned sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Culinary Degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of Sushi chef experience in a fast paced environment required.
• Prior sushi chef training experience preferred.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g. Serv-Safe).
• Knowledge of hazard analysis and critical control points (HAACP).

Responsibilities

• Operate a sushi kiosk at FujiSan standards and secure replacement franchisee.
• Retrain existing franchisees and train new franchisees to Fujisan program standards.
• Open new kiosks and manage ownership transitions.
• Conduct store visits to ensure food safety and operational standards.
• Display independent judgment with accountability for performance post training.
• Develop and deliver training programs on-site, virtually, and in classroom settings.
• Lead new kiosk openings and franchise transfers with autonomy and minimal supervision.
• Prepare reports and business correspondence for leadership review.
