Job summary

Hissho Sushi, Inc. is seeking a Regional Coordinator to support store openings/closings and sushi-bar operations across our partner locations. This role trains sushi chefs, enforces food safety guidelines, and helps maintain our company standards.

You will travel extensively (75–90%), collaborate with franchise teams, and report to the Operations Manager, contributing to strong retail relations and exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Sushi experience.
• Food service and customer service experience a must.
• Ability and flexibility to travel as required (75–90%).
• High School diploma or related equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in store openings, maintenance, and closing of sushi bar operations.
• Train chefs to ensure Hissho standards are met.
• Assist in the recruitment of chefs.
• May visit units to inspect operations.
• Understand local sanitation, health code laws, and weights and measures requirements.
• Ensure all required logbooks including rice pH log and temperature logs are maintained and verified chefs.
• Properly display and arrange visual presentation of products in sushi trays and cases and educate customers.
• Prepare sushi related products based on product type and recipes.
• Improve sales, quality, and customer service.
• Work with the team to control cost and maintain consistency.
• Develops strong working relationships through our retail and food service partners' organization to ensure that our Company remains the preferred supplier of choice.
