Job summary

Hissho-Sushi is seeking a dynamic operations specialist to support sushi bar activities across Minnesota and Wisconsin. You will open, maintain, and close sushi bar operations and train chefs to meet Hissho standards.

You will travel 75-90% to visit units, recruit chefs, and ensure food service and customer service excellence while maintaining sanitation and logbooks. High school diploma required; English proficiency essential.

Qualifications

Ability to effectively communicate in English.
Sushi experience.
Food service and customer service experience a must.
This position will support operations across Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Ability and flexibility to travel as required (75%-90%).
Ability to face challenges and take responsibility as required.
High School diploma or related equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in store opening, maintaining, and closing of sushi bar operations.
Train chefs to ensure Hissho standards are met.
Assist in recruitment of chefs.
May visit units to inspect operations.
Understand sanitation, health code laws, and weights and measures requirements.
Ensure logbooks including rice pH log and temperature logs are maintained.
Greet customers and educate them regarding company products.
Properly display and arrange visual presentation of products in sushi trays and cases.
Prepare sushi related products based on product type and recipes.
Improve sales, quality, and customer service.
Work with the team to control cost and maintain consistency.
Develops strong working relationships through our retail and food service partners’ organization to ensure that our Company remains the preferred supplier of choice.
