Job summary

Mizuho OSI is seeking a Regional Product Specialist to deliver sales, support, and education to surgical institutions in the assigned region, focusing on Support Surfaces and related products. You will install, demo, and train customers while collaborating with Account Managers to drive revenue.

The role requires strong communication, OR environment experience, and the ability to travel 30%–60%. Based in Phoenix, you will become the subject-matter expert for the full product line and support new

Qualifications

• Experience and education as outlined per job level.
• Microsoft Office proficiency; Salesforce.com preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to present to individuals and groups including physicians and hospital staff.
• Knowledge of the Trust Triangle sales process preferred.
• Ability to interact with medical professionals ethically and professionally.
• Comfort in operating room environments and attending surgeries.
• Ability to manage time and workload across a regional territory.
• Clinical knowledge in Orthopedics, Spine, and general surgical procedures preferred.
• Hospital environment experience required.
• Must live within 20 miles of assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.
• Travel 30%–60% within the region; reimbursements per policy.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn anatomy and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Gain market knowledge and track procedures and new technologies.
• Perform surgery table pad assessments and advise on replacements.
• Identify new opportunities and maintain a Salesforce sales funnel.
• Meet or exceed quota for Support Surfaces in territory.
• Build professional relationships with physicians, hospital management, and staff.
• Explain product features using technical knowledge of capabilities and limits.
• Attend learning institute courses as needed and requested.
• Educate and train customers on Mizuho OSI products; provide demos and in-services.
• Attend surgeries to support staff and adhere to hospital protocols.
• Represent products at tradeshows and courses as requested.
• Provide coverage for vacant territories when required.
