Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. is recruiting a Regional Manager – Substation to lead regional EPC and construction projects across a broad power infrastructure portfolio.

You will oversee budgets, resources, schedules, and risk management while driving profitability and client relations in a geographically dispersed region. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in substation construction or power infrastructure, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering large programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field and 10+ years of related experience.
• Proven success managing large-scale projects, programs, and regional portfolios.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for regional substation EPC and construction projects (greenfield, brownfield, BESS, renewable energy).
• Manage regional programs and project portfolios to meet safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives.
• Forecast and plan regional resource requirements; visit project sites to support field operations and project execution.
• Directly manage projects and mentor regional personnel; develop and retain operational leaders.
• Support business development, customer relationships, and growth initiatives; manage regional RFPs.
