The Regional Student Experience Coordinator provides essential support to the Regional Student Experience Manager in delivering a seamless and engaging campus experience for Joyce University students—particularly regional students who travel to the Draper campus from outside the local area. This position contributes to the university's goals to increase student engagement and enhance the student experience by assisting with the planning, communication, and execution of student-focused efforts. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service with a hospitality mindset. They will also demonstrate sound professional judgment in representing the university—supporting students while collaborating constructively with staff, faculty, and departments to solve challenges. This role requires flexibility and initiative in supporting student experience priorities as they evolve, including timely and proactive assistance to students and colleagues.

WHAT YOU DO EVERYDAY:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Regional Student Experience Manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing communications.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing campus events by coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and collaborating with campus and community partners. Support new student orientation and campus tours as needed.
  • Student Services & Support: Serve as a warm, student-focused point of contact by clearly answering questions, providing referrals, and resolving concerns. Help students prepare for campus visits by offering clear, detailed information about travel expectations, local transportation, accommodations, and other visit-related logistics. Embody a hospitality mindset through welcome gestures, thoughtful first impressions, and personalized communication with each student. Maintain a balanced, solutions-oriented, student-focused approach while upholding the values and integrity of the institution. Escalate complex or high-priority concerns to the Regional Student Experience Manager or appropriate departments as needed.
  • Data & Records Management: Assist in compiling reports and maintaining accurate records and databases related to regional student participation, feedback, and event attendance. Develop a clear understanding of how curriculum requirements align with time spent on campus.
  • Communication & Outreach: Contribute to Regional Student Experience communications including newsletters, event announcements, and informational emails. Help ensure students receive timely, clear, and accessible information about important on-campus dates and expectations.
  • Resource & Logistics Coordination: Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies, materials, and promotional items. Coordinate with other departments to ensure student ID badges, scrubs, and lab supplies are arranged and distributed in advance of each term.
  • Professional Growth & Flexibility: Demonstrate a growth mindset and willingness to learn and take on evolving responsibilities aligned with the team's priorities. Provide flexible support outside regular business hours as needed for student events, arrivals, or emergent situations.
  • Other Duties: Perform other related tasks as needed to support the evolving priorities of the Regional Student Experience team.

Requirements:

WHAT YOU'VE ACCOMPLISHED:

Education:

  • Associate's degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in administrative support, event coordination, or student/customer service, ideally in a university or educational setting.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with CRM systems and database management tools preferred
  • Familiarity with communication platforms such as Constant Contact; willingness to learn new tools quickly
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, professional demeanor and ability to build rapport with diverse student populations
  • Demonstrated ability to represent Joyce University professionally—approaching student concerns with empathy while collaborating constructively across teams to solve problems and support institutional goals
  • Proven ability to deliver responsive, student-centered support while working collaboratively with staff and departments
