Job summary

UNOPS is seeking a Regional Management & Oversight Senior Advisor to partner with the GPO Director, driving financial stewardship, strategy, and delivery excellence across the regional portfolio.

The role leads cross-regional performance, resource planning, and governance, coordinating with HQ and regional offices to ensure compliant, cost-effective operations and sustainable results for partners worldwide.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree with 12 years or Master’s with 10 years in related fields.
• Experience in management and advisory/coordination roles; international development experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Advise Director on cross-regional strategies and budgets; develop multi-year plans.
• Oversee performance, controls, and cost recovery across regions.
• Coordinate with UNOPS HQ and internal stakeholders for alignment.
• Lead knowledge sharing, capacity building and learning for GPO.
• Prepare substantive briefs on opportunities and challenges for the Director.
