Job summary

Salon Service Group is seeking a Store Market Leader in Kansas City, MO. This role oversees a home store and a group of SSG stores, driving revenue growth by building high-performing teams, executing sales strategies, and delivering operational excellence.

You will report to the Regional Sales Director, lead by example, and communicate effectively with store managers. Expect hands-on leadership, travel up to 50%, and opportunities for growth within a dynamic haircare retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of industry supervisory experience or applicable retail supervisory experience.
• Previous multi-unit experience is strongly preferred.
• Background in the beauty industry is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and clear-thinking skills.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Store Team, mentoring Store Managers and coaching.
• Focus on sales growth, customer service, merchandising, and operations through regular communication.
• Support Regional Sales Director to grow revenue via partnerships and outside sales teams.
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards and well-kept stores.
• Visit stores, identify areas for improvement, and manage inventories.
