Schuff Steel is seeking a Regional Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth in Southern California, focusing on commercial structural steel and large multi-million-dollar projects. You will collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, engineering, MBE, marketing, and proposal teams to achieve annual sales goals and represent the company in the market.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, strategic sales initiatives, and cross-functional coordination to deliver results

Qualificações

Five or more years in coordinating structural steel projects.
Associates degree or higher or approved technical training may substitute for the required experience.
Ability to read and interpret shop, construction, and design drawings.
Familiarity with detailing software and drawing standards preferred.

Responsabilidades

Drawing Quality Review: review shop and erection drawings for clarity and quality.
Dimension and Layout Verification: confirm running dimensions are applied and complete.
Part Identification: ensure part marks are clearly shown and referenced.
Welding Information Review: verify weld symbols are correct and clearly displayed.
Drawing Standards Compliance: ensure proper naming, classification, and labeling per standards.
Issue Identification and Feedback: identify discrepancies and communicate findings to detailing team.
Process Adherence: follow drawing review procedures and checklists.
Communication and Documentation: clearly communicate issues with stakeholders.
