Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is seeking a Regional Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our award-winning Special Education team across multiple California locations. The role involves evaluating students, developing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with families and school staff to support communication goals.

The position requires a Master’s in Speech Pathology, California licensure, and experience delivering SLP services in IEP environments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Licensed or in the process of obtaining SLP credential required.
• Experience providing speech therapy in special education settings preferred.
• Knowledge of IEPs and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to identify speech-language therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Set student-centered goals with families and educators.
• Monitor progress with data-driven assessments and reports.
• Provide direct therapy using evidence-based strategies.
• Document sessions and maintain case records promptly.
• Collaborate with teachers and related service providers.
• Travel between Spectrum School locations to provide support.
