Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is seeking a Regional Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Special Education team. The role involves evaluating students, developing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to support communication, language, and literacy development.

The position includes travel between Orange County and surrounding Southern California locations to provide direct therapy, program oversight, and clinical

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in speech pathology or a closely related field.
  • Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a speech language pathology (SLP) credential.
  • Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a CA state special education instruction credential preferred.
  • Hold currently or have the ability to obtain a valid CA state driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management training.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating students to identify speech-language therapy needs and determine service levels.
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans.
  • Setting collaborative goals with families and educators.
  • Monitoring progress with data-driven assessments and reporting to families and teams.
  • Providing direct speech and language therapy in age-appropriate environments.
  • Maintaining and documenting case records and billing within 24 hours.
  • Collaborating with teachers and caregivers to generalize goals into daily routines.
  • Mentoring educators to ensure effective delivery of therapy plans.
  • Traveling between Spectrum School locations for clinical support and oversight.
