Job summary

Parallel Management Group in Michigan is seeking a Regional Specialty Services Manager to lead rollout, training, and ongoing support for specialty resident programs across communities.

You will partner with building and regional leadership to determine which programs fit each community, coordinate with Life Enrichment Directors, Memory Care Coordinators, Wellness Coordinators, Restorative Aides, and End-of-Life Doulas, and ensure successful launches and long-term operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior living, memory care, or related healthcare.
• Ability to lead hands-on and virtual training sessions.
• Willingness to complete End-of-Life Doula certification and train others.
• Strong organizational and cross-department collaboration skills.
• Proficient with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom).

Responsibilities

• Schedule and host ongoing training experiences for staff at all communities within the region.
• Communicate with management to identify which specialty programs are appropriate for new communities, and implement in order of priority.
• Provide ongoing support to staff responsible for day-to-day program delivery.
• Hold meetings with communities on a biweekly basis to check progress and provide continued support.
• Send reminders and assist communities with program submissions and follow-through.
• Collect submissions monthly and compile them into a region-wide newsletter.
• Facilitate hands-on training experiences, including virtual dementia simulation sessions and meaningful engagement training.
• Launch memory care programs in new communities with resident assessments and sensory setups.
• Coordinate family education nights and support staff until independent operation.
• Follow up regularly to ensure ongoing program maintenance and provide catch-up support.
