Job summary

Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a Specialty Courts Region Administrator (Region 3) to supervise regional staff and ensure program integrity across multiple counties. You will lead, train, and oversee operations for Drug Court, Mental Health Court, and Veterans Treatment Court programs, aligning regional activities with agency policies and central directives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; six years of related Specialty Court, pretrial services, legal, court operations, human services, or closely related work with supervisory or lead experience.
• substituted education for experience not allowed.
• Associate's degree plus relevant work experience may substitute for bachelor's; total ten years may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervises regional Specialty Court staff and operations to ensure service delivery and compliance with agency policies and standards.
• Provides leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance oversight to assigned staff.
• Implements and supports departmental training initiatives for staff, judges, and program teams.
• Monitors program quality and operations via site visits, audits, and reviews; identifies improvement opportunities.
• Supports recruitment, onboarding, and retention for regional staff.
• Oversees regional administrative functions including time records, leave, travel, and reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Develops collaborative relationships with judges, court personnel, community partners, and treatment providers to support goals.
