Job summary

BB Imaging is seeking an experienced MFM Sonographer to advance their career across Washington state. As a Regional Sonographer, you’ll work independently across multiple MFM settings, with shifts in Spokane primarily and occasional coverage in Richland and Moses Lake.

This role offers no nights or weekends, and supports growth with CMEs, competitive pay, mileage and drive-time compensation, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• RDMS with OB/GYN specialty.
• Fetal Echocardiography (FE) credential.
• 1+ year of MFM/high-risk OB sonography experience.
• Knowledge of OB/GYN anatomy and terminology.
• HIPAA compliance when using EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures across multiple clinical settings.
• Cover low-risk and MFM sites and outreach clinics.
• Review patient charts, reports, labs, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist physicians with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms for fetal anomalies.
• Communicate findings to physicians.
• Provide guidance for amniocentesis imaging.
• Maintain quality of equipment and imaging.
• Restock rooms with required supplies.
• Pursue CMEs to expand knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Perform sonographic procedures. (No surprise there!)
• Cover a variety of clinicalsettings;including low-risk and MFM sites, outreach clinics.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
• Create reports toassistthe physician with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms toidentifyor rule out patient/fetus anomalies.
• Communicate sonographic findings tophysician.
• Providevisual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.
• Communicatemachine errors orneedstomaintainquality machines and imagery.
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
• Other duties assigned by managers.

IS THIS YOU?

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• 1+ yr of MFM, high-risk OB sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledgeable of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Able to communicate effectively with physicians, clients, and team members
• Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distress
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?

• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
