Job summary

Links Healthcare in California seeks a Regional Business Office Manager to oversee billing for multiple facilities within the region. The role focuses on Medicare, Medi-Cal, and other payer types, ensuring timely payments and accurate receivables.

Travel across facilities is required, and the position is not remote. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of BOM experience in SNF, hands-on Medicaid/Medicare billing, and is proficient with PCC.

Qualifications

• 3 years BOM experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility with a focus on collections and receivables
• Hands-on Medicaid/Medicare billing experience
• Experience handling multiple insurances (Medicare, Medi-Cal, Managed Care, etc.)
• Must be fully vaccinated per CMS/IDPH rules or have an exemption discussed at interview
• Prior supervisory experience in a SNF setting
• PCC billing system experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Bill, follow up, and appeal claims to ensure payment is received.
• Temporarily fill in as a facility office manager during leave.
• Travel to facilities in the assigned area; not remote or work from home.
• Meet billing deadlines and coordinate calendars for other deadlines.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and co-workers to resolve issues.
