Job summary

Rail City Casino seeks a regional Slot Operations Manager to oversee technicians, operations, and performance across its casinos. You will lead technical teams, coordinate machine moves, and ensure profitability and compliance with Nevada regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting skills, and a proven track record in slot operations. You will work closely with COOs and GMs to keep the slot floor competitive and compliant at multiple casinos.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required; bachelor degree preferred.
• At least 3-5 years experience in the field or in a related area.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience, or equivalent job experience, required.
• Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan, direct, audit, and accomplish goals.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Must possess excellent communication and computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Meet firm deadlines and keep stakeholders updated on project statuses.
• Excellent customer service and recovery skills required.
• Must be at least 21 and eligible to obtain Nevada Gaming Control Board registration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee slot operations and technical teams at multiple casinos.
• Recruit, train, plan, assign and manage work; appraise and coach staff.
• Review and analyze electronic gaming device reports; ensure compliance with cash reporting requirements.
• Recommend machine moves, configurations, game adjustments, and new games to COOs and GMs.
• Monitor slot performance using player ratings and financial data.
• Coordinate slot moves, upgrades, and installations with vendors and regulators.
• Manage technical service, preventive maintenance, and guest service standards for Slot Department.
• Assist in budgeting for departmental efficiency and goal attainment.
• Conduct regular slot/video performance analyses to optimize machine mix.
• Participate in monthly property financial reviews and slot product development.
• Ensure compliance with Nevada GC and internal controls.
