Job summary

BL Harbert International is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to enforce safety programs on construction sites in Fort Smith, AR. The role requires deep knowledge of safety standards and the ability to lead incident investigations, risk management, and regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

The position reports to the Site Safety leadership and collaborates with project teams, occupational medicine, and risk engineers to maintain BLHI's safety culture and project

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education and/or trade school.
• 10 years of general safety experience including 5 years of construction project safety.
• Industry certification/accreditation.
• OSHA 30-hour for Construction and/or USACE EM385-1-1 40-hour.
• Documented skills training.

Responsibilities

• Enforce all applicable federal, state, local, and company safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Proactively recognize hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Conduct incident investigations to determine root causes.
• Coordinate with executive, project management, occupational medicine and risk stakeholders.
• Serve as the project’s safety, health and environmental technical advisor.
