Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Senior Safety Leader to oversee SH&E across branches in the US, driving safety audits, training, and continuous improvement. The role requires 75% overnight travel and collaboration with Safety Directors and Branch Managers to ensure consistent policy execution.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Occupational Safety and Health and at least 7 years of experience in Safety, Health, and Environmental Management, with CSP/ASP/CIH preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years in Safety, Health and Environmental Management.
• Willingness to travel 75%; overnight travel.
• Must live near a major airport hub; coverage is US.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety protocols across branches within assigned geographic area.
• Conduct branch and project safety inspections and audits.
• Provide training and guidance to Safety Coordinators.
• Develop annual SH&E strategic plan with leadership.
• Lead monthly Safety Coordinator calls and track performance.
