Job summary

Draeger is seeking a Regional Service Manager to oversee service activities in California or Arizona. The candidate must reside in the territory and manage field service personnel to meet budget and quality targets.

A strong technical background and SAP/MS Office familiarity are preferred. The role involves travel within the region, collaboration with sales leadership, and ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety in all service operations.

Qualifications

• Technical or business degree required or equivalent education, training and experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Service role with success in customer service solutions, medical devices preferred.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience is required.
• Strong technical background; proficient with MS Office; SAP experience a plus; excellent communication and customer focus.
• Must be able to lift equipment weighing over 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an annual business plan for the service region in line with company objectives.
• Manage regional activities to meet budget targets, including revenue generation and expense control.
• Hire, train, and supervise field service personnel; monitor performance and take corrective actions.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with Area Sales Directors to create joint sales/service strategies and maintain major account relationships.
• Travel locally to monitor market activity, relationships, and service delivery.
• Support development of IDN/GPO accounts with the Strategic Corporate Accounts team.

The Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a Regional Service Manager in California or Arizona. Candidate must live in the territory.

The Regional Service Manager oversees service activities in the assigned region to develop and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and achievement of budget targets while ensuring consistent application of company strategies, policies, and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

• Establish and implement an annual business plan consistent with the overall objectives of the Service organization and the Company; periodically provide status updates. Develop business strategies and supportive programs for service region.
• Manage regional activities to achieve budget targets. This includes but is not limited to generating revenue, controlling expenses, maintaining inventory at budgeted levels and managing company assets.
• Hire, train, evaluate and direct the activities of field service personnel in the assigned region. Monitor and evaluate performance to targets and take corrective action as necessary.
• Establish, maintain and continuously improve customer satisfaction within the region.
• Ensure procedural compliance and patient safety in accordance with all regulations and standards. Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards and processes.
• Work with Area Sales Directors to develop joint sales/service account strategies. Maintain contacts with major accounts in coordination with the Sales Executives and Area Sales Directors.
• Periodic field travel to ensure market awareness, employee monitoring and key account relationships are maintained.
• Enable business development of targeted IDN/GPO accounts by collaborating and supporting the Strategic Corporate Accounts team.

Your Qualifications

Education / Experience:

• Technical or business degree in a related field or the equivalent in education, training and experience.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Service role and demonstrated success in implementing effective customer service solutions; experience with medical devices strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years previous experience in a supervisory role required.
• Must have a strong technical background. Proficient with MS office suite; experience with SAP a plus. Excellent communication skills and customer focus a must.
• Lifting: Must be able to lift equipment which can weigh in excess of 25 pounds

The targeted pay range for this position is typically between $115,000 - $135,000 . We note that the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. This position is eligible for the following additional compensation: annual bonus.
