Job summary

DSV seeks a Regional Senior Compliance Specialist to support Customs/Compliance and Dangerous Goods across North and South America. Responsibilities include data gathering, documentation, and executive-level presentations, with focus on regulatory visibility.

The role requires travel (35–50%), remote work in the USA, strong DG & regulatory knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across sites and functions.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and documentation standards.
• Experience in data compilation and executive summaries.
• Excellent communication for cross-regional collaboration.
• Experience in Logistics or Supply Chain with DG focus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and organize import/export documentation (Invoices, Packing Lists, BOLs, Certificates).
• Assist with HS/HTS code classification.
• Coordinate daily with customs brokers, forwarders, and providers for clearance.
• Maintain organized electronic/physical files per record-retention requirements.
• Organize system details into a unified, accessible format.
• Prepare slide decks for executive leadership reviews.
• Assist with onsite assessments for Customs/Compliance.
• Organize site-specific Customs/Compliance details for visibility to leadership.
• Share success stories to promote a proactive Customs/Compliance culture.
• Compile details for alerts, training materials, and work instructions.
