Job summary

Signal of West Virginia is seeking a Security Branch Supervisor to provide hands-on leadership for officers while overseeing daily operations across Charleston and Beckley sites. You will develop officers, ensure staffing coverage, maintain client relationships, and deliver consistent service that brings peace of mind.

This active leadership role includes site visits, ride-alongs, scheduling, and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass required background checks and a pre-employment drug screening, including WVCARES when required for an assigned site.
• Have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Be able to travel among assigned sites throughout Morgantown, Fairmont, Clarksburg, and surrounding areas.
• Be available to work varying shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays; provide coverage when needed.
• Complete required initial training modules within the first seven days of employment.
• Have strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Have basic computer skills and be able to operate a smartphone efficiently.
• Have a smartphone with an active data plan for scheduling, post orders, reporting, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop officers: coach, mentor, supervise to meet standards and client expectations.
• Conduct site visits and ride-alongs, give practical feedback, accountability, and recognition.
• Participate in performance reviews and establish development goals.
• Reinforce punctuality, professional appearance, accurate reporting, and dependable service.
• Recommend and issue disciplinary action per policy.
• Encourage continuous learning and ensure required training completion.
• Support recruiting, interview candidates, coordinate orientation, and onboarding.
