Job summary

Bourke High School invites applications for a permanent 0.5 FTE School Counsellor. You will provide counselling and psychological support to students and work with families and staff to promote wellbeing and learning.

Qualifications

• Experience in counselling using evidence-based interventions.
• Experience in the psychological assessment of children and young people, including case formulation and report writing.
• Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to improve the learning and wellbeing outcomes of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide counselling and psychological assessment to students.
• Collaborate with teachers and families to support wellbeing and learning.
