Job summary

The Walsh Group seeks a Regional Scheduler to lead scheduling for our Phoenix, AZ region. You’ll organize, verify, and maintain the scheduling system across pursuits and projects, coordinating with project teams and management. Expect travel across the region as needed.

You will apply WBS standardization, critical path analysis, and ongoing schedule updates, while producing timely reports and driving schedule certainty through proactive analysis and recovery actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management or equivalent.
• Approximately 10 years of experience.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Primavera P6.
• Preferred proficiency in Acumen Fuse, Synchro, Project and Cost Management Systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and ability to prioritize, organize and manage time.
• Must be willing to travel to and from projects in region.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a comprehensive scheduling management system including WBS standardization, time impact and critical path analysis.
• Interacts with project teams to define scopes and develop/update schedules in terms of progress, cost, and resources.
• Evaluates schedule data and verifies start/finish dates, logic, costs, budgets, changes, risks, and data.
• Identifies variances from the original or approved plan.
• Prepares project management reports reflecting schedule status and corrective actions.
• Conducts analysis to determine alternatives or recovery on eroded or on-time schedules.
• Recommends change management processes and ensures resources are available to maintain schedules.
