Job summary

Southern Company in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Regional Scheduler to lead outage scheduling within the Performance & Reliability group. The role focuses on Primavera scheduling, resource leveling, and cross-team coordination to optimize outage timelines.

The candidate will support field activities, maintain schedules, and drive efficient use of resources across the Southern Company fleet.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in generation outage scheduling within Primavera.
• 0 && 0
• Proficient in leveling resources, daily updates, sequencing, and critical path activities.
• Extensive plant maintenance experience with outage operations preferred.
• BS in Engineering or an applicable technical degree preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Build/track Level 4 Planned outage schedules adhering to standards.
• Maintain timely communications with plant functional teams across facilities.
• Drive value by optimal resource usage and recovery scheduling.
• Serve as regional expert on Primavera P6 scheduling and best practices.
• Lead scheduling activities on Outage Readiness Reviews.
