Job description

The Regional Sales Specialist (RSS) is responsible for supporting our Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and value-added resellers (VARs) in the Mid-West region, which includes Oklahoma, Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Tennessee. This includes providing quotes for new and existing systems, system support, software upgrade renewals (SUSP), maintaining data integrity and reporting, creating sales collateral, and promoting new product introductions to LenelS2 customers. The successful candidate will:

  1. Collaborate with teammates on all opportunities within the specific territory and region.
  2. Deliver on financial objectives in conjunction with the RSM.
  3. Partner to execute sales action plans aligned with company strategy.
  4. Participate actively in sales activities to achieve business success.
  5. Develop key sales competencies such as prospecting, lead generation, influencing, business acumen, and judgment.
  6. Hold themselves accountable for executing key deliverables, metrics, and activities.
  7. Maintain clear communication with teammates and customers.
  8. Ensure alignment with business imperatives.
  9. Develop strategic clarity regarding role, expectations, and performance.
  10. Maintain extensive knowledge of customers, opportunities, markets, and competitors.
  11. Coordinate with internal resources to provide value and facilitate business.
  12. Add value through growth and support activities, including product demonstrations, trade shows, and product roadshows.
  13. Support RFP and RFI responses and submissions.
  14. Execute internal business deliverables within set timeframes.
  15. Provide strategic market feedback to the business.
  16. Support customer sales training initiatives.
  17. Manage strategic initiatives and programs.
  18. Partner with and manage the VAR relationship with RSM.
  19. Travel up to 45% of the time.

The salary range for this position is $84,000 - $125,000. The actual offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
