Job summary

Federal Signal Corporation is seeking a Sales Manager to promote Police & Fire market vehicle products across Delaware, Long Island, Maryland, and New Jersey. The ideal candidate should be based in the Delaware area and will drive new business, manage quotas, and coordinate with distributors and OEMs.

Base salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 with potential for substantial bonus through a company Sales Incentive Plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Five (5) years' experience in Automotive, Fleet and/or Law Enforcement sales.
• In lieu of sales experience, ten (10) years experience in Automotive, Fleet and/or Law Enforcement industry.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively communicating information verbally and in writing to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities to obtain assigned new business and sales quota.
• Communicates with business unit personnel concerning the business environment, product performance, pricing, and service issues.
• Responds to market opportunities and customer communications including distributors, dealers, OEMs, end users, and the factory.
• Develops and implements an annual sales plan.
• Coordinates participation in local, state, regional and national trade shows.
