Job Description: Regional Sales Manager

Department: North America Sales - Original Equipment

Position Overview

As a Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast, you will serve as a key contact for Ruhrpumpen sales and customer support, focusing on major EPCs, managing a defined territory, and leading strategic initiatives with regular engagement for assigned accounts. Your responsibilities include increasing sales, expanding market share, and profitably growing the product portfolio and aftermarket services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as the single point of contact for major EPCs and headquarters accounts within the territory.
  • Maintain active communication with internal personnel.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with key decision-makers to enhance customer and territory interactions.
  • Identify customer needs and collaborate to define solutions.
  • Manage territory and customer forecasts, budgets, and control costs using approved systems and policies.
  • Negotiate orders, including technical, commercial, and legal terms.
  • Maintain all customer and territory communications through daily updates in CRM and forecasting, including industry and competitive analysis to support strategic management decisions.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in similar roles, selling pump products and services, preferably on the West Coast.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry or related sectors.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement business plans.

Territory: WV, PA, NY, VT, ME, NH, MA, CT, RI, NJ, DE, MD. Candidates residing in these states are encouraged to apply.

Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, and solutions effectively at all organizational levels. Strong understanding of End-User and Distribution Sales, with at least 5 years of industry experience.
